Waiting

Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

We just finished speaking with the neonatologist, and most of the test results are back from this afternoon. Alegria does not have pneumonia and the results do not look like we are dealing with an infection either, so both good news. Her oxygen level is great, but her heart and lungs are still working harder than they should be to accomplish this. SO we are just waiting. Hoping the oxygen she is receiving will help to make things easier for her and help to resolve the symptoms we are seeing. The biggest symptom right now is called pulmonary hypertension (the pressure in her lungs is too high).

We have had other good news today also. Her bilirubin was down to 12 this morning, so we were able to remove the larger of the two bililights. Also we were able to speak with a hospital financial consultant today which went very well.
