Kangaroo love

Well, today mom had the first chance to hold Alegria skin to skin since we came to Lutheran Hospital. Both mom and baby enjoyed it very much, but it was still very difficult for mom to kind of get a taste of what she has been missing.

Alegria certainly loves being held. She snuggled right up and would have been satisfied being there all day.
As the time passes on this day we look back at the week with all its surprises and ups and downs. We can't help but feel thankful for where things stand right now. At any moment they could have been so much worse....with the small inconviniences we are dealing with daily, they are nothing compared to what others around us are having to go through. We almost get overwhelmed with thankfulness and gladness for where things stand for us. Even with the uncertainties of things to come, the future looks bright and today we get to enjoy our new little blessing yet a little closer.
We miss our other children and can't wait to be together again, but again we get overwhelmed thinking of how much help we have recieved during this time. To all those caring for our other little blessings we say thank you. You have lifted a great burden from us by your work and we could not have asked for any better help.
On this Sunday we start a new week, refreshed, hopeful, and filled with thankfulness for all of your help and prayer.
Although it came out a little sappy, we just basically wanted to say,
THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING.
Al.
