Thankful for the generosity of others

I am so thankful for the generosity of other tube feeding parents!  We have been so blessed by their kindness! Today a mother offered to send me 9 feeding tube extensions for Alegria for FREE!  A couple of weeks ago another mother sent me 10 for the cost of shipping.  It might not sound that amazing if you do not understand that the list price for EACH of these tubes is around $25 (the best deal I can get from a medical supply company is around $12 a piece) or if you don't know that we are doing really well if these last a week, typically it is more like a few days.  This month we also received 60! feeding bags for the cost of shipping from another sweet family (this quantity would retail for over $400- and these too typically last only a few days to a week max) These all are absolutely necessary components of the system we use to feed Alegria.  They are not covered by the wonderful ministry we are a part of, and so that makes them an out of pocket cost for us.  And yet I have only ever bought 1 or 2 extensions at even the $12 price and never paid more than $2 per feeding bag, thanks to the generosity of others who would rather give away (or sell at a great price) their sealed and unused items like these they no longer need.  Praise God once again for His provision and may He bless these families for their kindness and generosity towards us!
